This policy describes how PAPINGU L.L.C. ("we", "us"), operator of betorio, collects and uses your personal data when you use betorio.app.
1. Data we collect
Account data: name, email address, hashed password. Usage data: bets you log in the Tracker (stored only for your account). Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) retained for up to 30 days.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to: provide and improve the Service; send transactional emails (verification, password reset); send optional daily prediction digests if you opt in; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Data storage
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (EU region). Email delivery is handled by Resend. We use industry-standard security measures including hashed passwords and encrypted connections.
4. Third-party services
betorio uses: OpenAI API (prediction generation — match data only, no personal data sent); Resend (email delivery); Google reCAPTCHA v3 (bot protection on registration/login — subject to Google Privacy Policy); Vercel (hosting).
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and all associated data; export your data; object to processing. Exercise these rights by emailing privacy@betorio.app or using the delete account option in your Profile settings.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie for authentication (NextAuth.js). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Children
betorio is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
We will notify registered users of material changes to this policy by email.
